PLASTIC BAN

Greetings to the respected chairpersons and all the listeners. Myself ( name here) would like to take this opportunity to thank the management for arranging this debate competition.
         I am here to express my views in the favour of the given topic ie; "PLASTIC BAN".
Plastics are a very big threat to our environment. Firstly, we should understand that what exactly is plastic and how it is hazardous for us . Plastics are synthetic substance made up of organic polymers or you can say a long chain of carbon atoms. These are chemically stable , hence cannot be broken down easily by any environmental factor. It takes more than thousands of years for a plastic to get decomposed hence platics are non-biodegradable in nature. Single use plastics such as bottle caps, lids, wrappers, cups,straws etc forms the bulk of plastic garbage on earth today.           
Let me now highlight what problems can be caused by the use of plastics.
* Plastics being non decomposable is very tough to dispose as it remains in our environment for years and causes pollution.
*Waste plastics which gets collected in the water bodies are sometimes unknowingly consumed by the aquatic animals and they die due to choking.
*Throwing trash in plastic bin bags caused death of many animals as these animals often search for their food in garbages and eat plastics accidentally.
* Burning of plastics releases toxic gases like carbon and nitrogen which if inhaled for long can cause serious illness and mental instability in humans.
*Clogged sewage due to plastics causes overflow of drains and finally results in various diseases.
        Due to these many reasons , I strongly feel that the use of plastic should be banned completely as it is ruining our mother earth immensely.
This is only possible if we emphasize on the healthy alternatives.By this I mean to say we should start using products made up of stainless steel, papers, cardboard, silicon, woods,glass etc.
    It's time now to take a pledge against plastic use.

Pandemic....mere thought of this word  creates a sense of dejection all over as, its third year in a row where the whole world is suffering it's consequences. Not only the person getting infected are it's victims but apart from that I would say, a large section of worlds population is still struggling to get over it sitting at their homes. It's the most dominant thing right now which has drastically changed the entire world and is continuing to do so. When everyone is operating from their houses be it jobs or education, it becomes really very important to understand what is going within the family .
